Materials:
The ornament samples are all knit with fingering weight yarn, Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Pure Shetland Wool) with a range of colours. However almost any type of yarn type and weight is suitable. The leg warmers are knit with arran weight wool yarn.

Techniques:
Knit and Purl
Cast on and casting off
Decreasing (SSK, K2tog, P2tog, SSP, K3tog, P3tog)
Lace (YO, M1)
Fairisle (stranded)
