Hello,

I am Nenah Galati. My Ravelry username is KnittingKorner. I am the designer and producer of 20 how-to-knit/crochet DVDs. You will find them in the links below.

My philosophy: Just as many other knitting enthusiasts have expressed, knitting is a form of therapy that encompasses the spiritual as well as satisfying many needs of the busy folks we have become. I now look at knitting as a form of “zen” or meditation if you will.

I advocate that one can not stress about the past or the future, but can be in the moment as they knit. Focusing on the lovely fiber in their hands; on their breathing, with a prayer or positive thought in their hearts. The moment is where everything happens, love, joy, intimacy, God…So the more we can be in the moment, the more we live life to the fullest.

It is an honor to share my knitting and crocheting knowledge with you.

I am currently living in Edmonds, Washington, about two blocks from the Puget Sound, with Joe, my wonderful finance. We love the area and the people. We do hope to travel next year to have seminars or classes at the various yarn shops up and down the good old USA!

I hope my being on Ravelry will help further bringing even more people together in the knitting community and form new friendships.
