Nicola Blechschmidt

I was born and raised in Nürnberg, Germany, where I learned how to knit in school and from my Grandmother. Being only 9 years old at the time though I quickly lost interest. I began knitting again in 2008 mostly to have something to occupy my time with. This time I re-learned how to knit from my Mom.

My designs are inspired by things I see around me, by ideas that make me go “Mmm, I wonder…”, and by the general need for items that haven’t been made yet by others.
