Hello and welcome to my little world knitforsweet!
My story began when I was a little girl, quietly watching my mother’s hands move, thread by thread, turning simple yarn into warmth and life. Those moments felt like something magical — calm, patient, full of meaning. Soon I was knitting tiny scarves for my dolls, simply because it brought me joy.

Years later, through my studies in Software Engineering, I learned the beauty of structure and logic — how every system, no matter how complex, is built step by step. That background shaped how I see knitting today. Each pattern I design is like a complete software project: carefully planned, tested, and refined. System analysis helps me build not just visual beauty, but thoughtful design — something that invites you to reflect, to analyze, and to understand what’s being created in your hands.

Motherhood brought new depth to this world. With the birth of my children, knitting became a sanctuary — a place of calm discoveries and tender adventures. That’s when I realized: I didn’t just want to knit; I wanted to create — to tell stories through stitches, textures, and emotions.

The name “knitforsweet”, invented by my husband, holds double meaning: “sweet” — gentle and kind — and svit, which means “world” in Ukrainian. I create for this world, for everyone who seeks warmth, comfort, and connection through handmade things.

My designs are small journeys: linen collections that breathe like summer wind, or woolen ones that hold the cozy silence of winter evenings. Each stitch is not only craft, but also thought — a little reflection of who we are and what we create.
