What I love about designing is the challenge of taking a beautiful yarn and envisioning ways to make a comfortable piece that is also a practical and lovely. I like to add visual interest with cables, ridges, color and motifs that are actually easy to knit but give the finished item a designer look.

Many of my designs have a “magical” flavor to them, a nod to my love of genres like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who. I also love nature, particularly animals, and will offer designs for pet, horse, and other animal lovers. I support the work of The Morris Animal Foundation, a global leader in funding animal health research. A portion of my proceeds will be donated to support their research.
