Sharon Goodwin

I have a degree in Embroidered and Woven Textile Design from Glasgow School of Art and trained as a milliner after graduating.

I have been making and creating since I was little, inspired by mum, who made everything from dolls house furnishings to the most horrific curtain material (a la Sound of Music) dresses for me. I still remind her!

I’d be lost without a needle and thread and more recently without my crochet hook. After years of trying to persuade my Uncle Daniel to teach me, I finally taught myself with the help of YouTube, online tutorials and books. It’s a cliche I know, but I’m hooked.

I have a head full of silly ideas just waiting on the perfect fabric or yarn to bring them to life. Finding the right materials has been known to take years but I strongly believe that if you’re going to make something you have to also love what you’re making it with.

I love what I do and if someone else happens to like it too, I’m a happy bunny x
