Inspired by rugged rocky coastlines, Acadia is a rustic blend of fine Merino wool (providing warmth) and baby alpaca and silk noil (adding drape and lustre as well as an interesting knobbly texture). The heathered appearance of this DK weight yarn is achieved from a kettle dyeing process that creates the subtle duotones for which The Fibre Co. has become known.

A selection of our favorite designs in Amble yarn. Amble is a fingering-weight yarn made from a blend of eco-friendly washable wool and alpaca for comfort as well as recycled nylon for strength. Although designed especially for sock knitting, this is a soft and durable yarn also great for easy-to-care-for sweaters and accessories.

Inspired by the breath-taking scenery of Ireland, Arranmore Light yarn is spun in a mill that traces its roots to the homespun tweed industry of 19th century County Donegal. This DK-weight yarn blends cashmere and silk with fine Merino wool to create an authentic tweed yarn in a colour palette reminiscent of the wild Irish coastlands for makers who appreciate the best of luxury and tradition.

Cirro is a sport weight yarn combining long lustrous Suri alpaca with Merino wool, and then wrapping this fluffy fibre around an organic cotton thread to make a light and airy yarn perfectly balanced for body and drape. Cirro creates a delightfully soft haloed fabric that is light as a feather and easily worn next to the skin.
