Hello and welcome to my designer page!

I taught myself to knit several years ago using the Stitch ‘N Bitch book back when it first came out and everyone seemed to get bit by the knitting bug, and I haven’t stopped since. Knitting is a way for me to calm my nerves by keeping my hands busy, and I love seeing what starts out as a ball of yarn transform into something beautiful and useful.

My designs have progressed with my experience as a knitter and reflect my interests at that time. I started with tropical themed dishcloth patterns following my honeymoon in Maui in 2008. Next came a period where I almost exclusively knit toys, hence my progression to toy design. After that, I had two little boys and took a break from designing.

Now my kids are a little older, and I am ready to get back to it. My knitting interests now are socks and shawls, so that is what you can expect to see more of. I have become especially interested in incorporating slip stitch and mosaic patterns into my designs.
