Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? Have you ever started and quit? During this fabulous Spring weekend you will be provided with the information and tools for starting, or restarting your knitting dreams.

You will cover all the important basic techniques, creating two small pieces during the weekend! As you learn about casting on, knitting, purling and binding off, you will have ample time to ask questions and develop this skill with the assistance of instructor and pattern designer, Mary Gildersleeve.

You will accomplish all this in an amazing weekend at a 220acre farm nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge … time to commune with the animals while on your guided walk around the farm, hosted by owner Jane McKinney .. and gather with a small group of like-minded fiber enthusiasts.

This two-day workshop includes scheduled activities for learning knitting basics, touring the farm, enjoying a continental breakfast and lunch and receiving handouts of tips, tricks and techniques when knitting with cashmere.
