Come to our festival and explore mathematics through crafts like knitting, crochet, colouring, origami and sculpture. No matter if you are a novice knitter or a mediocre mathematician - our friendly volunteers will show you what to do and answer any questions you may have about what you’re making. All of these activities will be in the same room, so feel free to do as many or as few as you are in the mood for!

There will also be a range of public lectures exploring the connections between maths and craft in more depth.

All activities are free and open to everyone with a museum ticket (which is free for all NZ residents).
