Salt Spring Fibre Fair is a grassroots fibre event focusing on local and natural products. The event is located at the Salt Spring Island Farmer’s Institute, an idyllic agricultural venue surrounded by fields and forest.

Salt Spring Island is well known for it’s artists, craftspeople and agriculture. Sheep farming is a tradition here.

The Saltspring Fibre Fair features a marketplace, Sheep to Shawl event, guest lectures, food vending, and fibre art classes.
