So I kind of had an idea of duplicating SPA by hanging out with my friends in the Waverly lobby after the Fashion Show and Dinner on Friday night. One thing has lead to another, and now it looks like we are not only having a fun Friday to kick off the STITCHES South weekend, but I have goodies to give away in contests that night.

Contest 1 - Wackiest Pajamas
Ever get a pair of pajamas that are so brightly colored you have to wear shades? Do your pajamas come with attached feet? Have you been wearing fun silky lace ensembles to pamper yourself? Then this contest is for YOU.
Contest 2 - Coolest Handmade Slippers
Love making a statement with your footwear? Are your feet always cold? See if you can make a striped pair of Fuzzy Feet, delicately dainty Twinkle Toes, colorful Thrummed Bunnies, or any pair of fun slippers. The reward to show them off could be a prize.

Prizes so far:

  • Kollage Yarns is donating 3 yummy kits
  • Cascade Yarns is donating a Cascade 220 sweater kit
  • CNS Yarns is donating a Savannah sweater kit from their new Mission Falls book “Weekend”
  • Lisa Souza is donating a shawl and sock kit in her scrumptious yarn
  • Coloratura Yarns is donating two Scarf-in-a-Scarf kits. Each kit contains a 100% silk scarf and four (4) single skeins of yarn (100 yards each, for a total of 400 yards). The yarn is 50% silk and 50% merino. It comes packaged in a candy box with a clear lid. The pattern is on the back of the box. After the scarf has been knitted with button holes down the center of the scarf approximately every 5 or 6 inches, the silk scarf is then woven in and out of the button holes. The scarf can be worn in multiple ways due to the button holes. These kits were a huge hit at STITCHES West. If you miss winning one of these kits, be sure to stop at Coloratura Yarn’s booth and buy one before they disappear!
  • Unwind RI is donating 3 amazing swag bags consisting of the following: a Della Q Needle Case, a kit of 2 skeins Schulana Malawi Yarn and scarf pattern, and a kit of 2 skeins Koigu Kersti and a lovely scarf pattern.
  • Jennifer of Pipps Purses has donated fun and funky bag patterns for us to play with!
  • Anne Kuo Lukito of Crafty Diversions has donated cool patterns for us to wear.
  • Heatherly of Intwined Pattern Studio has donated a licensed copy of their software, which will give many of us who want to dabble in design a chance to put our creations down on paper.
  • Brittany of The Knitch Witch is donating one of her pretty yarn bowls. WOOT!

Definitely feel free to contact me for donating prizes and participating!! See you there. =:8
