ZK is an urban knitting retreat hosted in downtown Rochester, MN.
The retreat runs Wednesday afternoon through Sunday mid-day, with a relaxed atmosphere that encourages knitting, meeting new friends, shopping, and eating great food at the wonderful restaurants centrally located in downtown Rochester. In fact, once you get to the hotel, there is very little need for a car, as everything is within walking distance.

While the retreat atmosphere is laid back, there are also many optional opportunities to get involved. You can pack your weekend with as many fun activities as you care to join.

What is a rough outline of the retreat schedule?

• Wednesday is a travel day with afternoon retreat check-in, after which we have ballrooms available for the remainder of the retreat for knitting and chatting.

• Thursday the retreat hits full swing, with a full day of free classes taught by volunteer teachers, and other fun events.

• Friday starts with a prediction run/walk for those who sign up for this excursion. There is also an off-site excursion, and all kinds of events and free classes scheduled through out the day. ( Saturday is the EPIC marketplace with fabulous fiber arts vendors from near and far. Saturday evening is the goodbye event, the last scheduled retreat event.

• Sunday is your travel day back home.
