Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2009: “Omdahl charts lacy constellations on this boldly feminine top, worked in Be Sweet’s organic cotton/bamboo blend ‘Bambino.’ The garment is made in six distinct pieces - front, back, two sides and two short sleeves - that are seamed together. The deep bottom ribbing and cowl neck are picked up and knit after the body has been assembled.”

“Close-fitting, short sleeved top with lace motifs knitted in pieces.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Sized for Small, Medium, Large, X-Large
  • Bust 32 (36, 40, 44)”/81 (91.5, 101.5, 111.5)cm
  • Length 21 (23, 25, 27)”/53.5 (58.5, 63.5, 68.5)cm

Materials:
Required yarn amounts listed in the magazine are incorrect. Per errata:
Use these corrected yarn amounts:
9 (11, 13, 15) 1¾oz/50g balls (each 95yd/87m) of Be Sweet’s Bambino (organically grown cotton/bamboo) in #800 natural

  • One pair size 3 (3.25mm) knitting needles or size to obtain gauge
  • Stitch holders

Additional Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4”/10cm over k1, p1 rib. Take time to check gauges.
