A dress for Barbie.

The photo with this pattern is a Les Cheries 14” doll. Although the pattern was written for a Barbie doll, it can be knit for the Les Cheries doll by using fingering weight yarn and size 4 needles.

Dress is worked flat in one piece, bottom up to the armhole, then a horizontal band is knitted on to form sleeves and neckline.

No specific yarn is given in the pattern, it only calls for 100% cotton 8/4 (fingering 4-ply) yarn. In some languages pattern doesn’t tell anything at all about yarn.
Gauge is not given in the pattern, but in the yarn section of the site you can find gauge for 8/4 cotton in stockinette stitch.
