Pattern description from Knit.1, Spring/Summer 2008: “The seven species of marine turtle belong to one of the last groups of prehistoric animals still in existence: These hardy creature survived the dinosaurs yet are now jeopardized by polluted underwater habitats and nesting beaches, accidental drowning in fishing gear and over-harvesting of eggs.”

Stuff:

  • 1 skein in #3650 Bamboo and #3620 Celery in Bamboo Wool by Moda Dea/Coats & Clark, 2.8oz/80g skeins, each approx 145yd/133m (rayon from bamboo/wool)
  • Size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook or size to get the gauge
  • 15mm plastic eyes with safety backings, polyester stuffing, embroidery needle and tapestry needle

Note: Work in continuous rnds. Do not turn at end of rnd.
