The Cover Model of the magazin is an updated version of a 1950’s jacket- with shawl collar, fitted waist and peplum.

In 1947, Dior’s debut line, dubbed the ‘New Look,’ hailed the return of ultra-femininity after WWII. Taking a cue from his iconic Bar Suit, this buttoned jacket celebrates the hourglass shape. Worked in stockinette using Milano, it has a nipped waist, dramatic peplum, shawl collar and garter-stitch edging.
