This stunning triangular hybrid shawl is on the cover of the fall/winter issue of the Debbie Bliss magazine.

The Snowflake shawl is worked from the top down and consists of two identical triangles separated by a snow flake insertion at the centre back. This creates a lovely shape which provides more shoulder coverage and is easier to wear than a standard triangular shawl.

The Snowflake shawl is finished off with a delicate crochet chain cast/bind off which adds an elegant touch to the shawl. The crochet chain cast/bind off is easy to do even for non-crocheter and I’ve recorded a video tutorial.

This shawl measures 77cm/30.5in long at centre back and 190cm/75in wide (wingspan) and only takes 2 balls (800m total) of Rialto Lace.

The pattern contains written instructions and charts.

The Debbie Bliss magazine can be purchased from Debbie Bliss stockists around the world.
