From pattern description:

“Close-fitting pullover with alternating bands of Fair Isle and Lace, side seam shaping and large fold back collar.”

From Vogue Knitting, Holiday 2005:

“Fair Isle goes utterly feminine in Shirley Paden’s shoulder-baring sweater. Here the color pattern is interspersed with bands of delicate fan-shaped eyelet. The yarn is indulgent ‘Pure Cashmere;’ from Knit One Crochet Too.”
