This shawl knitted to the same size as the pattern will work well as either a lady’s shawl or as a baby shawl.The fine yarn used means that it does have some ‘drape’.

It can also be a delicate bedcover if you make it wider, longer and only add the edging to three of the sides. Instructions on how to adjust the width are given in the pattern.
