A pretty tweed yarn adds interest to these super-simple slippers. First the heels are worked in garter stitch—which creates extra traction and cushioning—and then the foot is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The toes are shaped for a snug fit. A round of single crochet is worked in a contrasting color at the leg opening.

Colorway used is #120 Birch with a small amount of #249 Cranberry.
