This spunky skirt was designed for handspun yarn, that may be limited in yardage, but not in beauty.

The “4 ounce Challenge” was created by Spunky Eclectic, Hello Yarn, and Southern Cross Fibres, to show just how much you can do with 4 ounces of fibres and something to spin it on!

The skirt is knit from the top down, with eyelets and a drawstring for an easily adjustable fit. The lace edging is just 13 rounds, and perfect for a knitter who wants to try lace without the commitment required by a full sized shawl.

With 108yds of 9wpi handspun (or your favorite commercial yarn) you can create this skirt that is sure to be a favorite, and can be worn from infancy to approximately 2 years of age.
