Pattern Description The first Fana cardigans were made during the mid-19th Century and worn as everyday attire by male farmers. The pattern has since evolved and Fana is currently worn by young and old, men and women alike, for all occasions. This pattern originated in the Fana area of Bergen. Dale of Norway’s baby Fana can be made with or without woven braid trim.
