Materials required:
For complete layette – 55 yards/50 metres of 1-ply wool are required. 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles. (Note for a Heidi Ott baby use size 21 needles)
Dress - 25yards/22 metres 1-ply wool, small button or bead for neck. Bonnet - 13 yards/12 metres 1-ply wool, small button or bead for neck strap. (Ribbon can be used at neck if preferred see neck strap instructions). Mittens - 13 yards/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for wrist ties. Bootees - 13 yards/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for ankle ties. Pilch knickers - 13 yards/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for waist tie.

Finished size:
Dress: Approx 1½-inches/4 cm tall, ¾-inches/2 cm across chest

Gauge: Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size
