NOTE: Although this pattern dates from 1925 the underwear is suitable for babies from 1910-1950 as there was not much change to patterns of this period.

Materials required:
Vest - size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply wool, narrow ribbon.
Petticoat - size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply wool, narrow ribbon, stitch holder, (fine crochet hook-optional).
Pilch knickers - size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, 14 yards/12.5 metres 1-ply wool, narrow ribbon for waist.

Finished sizes
Petticoat – 1½-inches/3.5 cm tall, ½-inch/1.25 cm wide at chest, 2-inches/5 cm wide at hem
Vest – 1¼-inches/2.75 cm tall, 1-inch/2.5 cm at waist
Pilch knickers - ¾-inch/2 cm across at base narrowing to ½-inch/1.25 cm at waist

Gauge - Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary greatly in size.
