Materials required for any snowflake:
Size 0.60 mm or smaller crochet hook (a smaller hook size will give smaller snowflakes), 2 yards/ 1.75 metres No. 80 or No. 100 crochet thread, or very fine good sewing cotton, (for starching materials see page 3 of pattern), invisible or silver thread for hanging on tree.

Finished size: approx ¾-inch/2 cm high

Gauge – not important for this project as size can be increased or decreased to suit personal preferences
