To fit a 12.5cm/5-inch wide bed.

Ability Level: Intermediate to Experienced
This project is not suitable for a first project in miniature knitting, as short rows are used on the border.

Materials required: 1 pair UK size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 00000) knitting needles, 375 metres 1-ply yarn or 50g No. 20 crochet cotton.
Changing the size of the bedspread to fit a Single bed
If working a single bedspread about 100 metres less yarn will be required.

Approximate finished sizes
Finished size of bedspread:
22 cm/8¾-inches deep by 27 cm/10½-inches wide. The bedspread will appear much wider than it is long. Top panel – 22 cm/8¾-inches wide x 19 cm/7½-inches long. Individual squares – 3.5 cm/1½-inches square. Border – 3 cm/1¼-inches deep.

Tension/gauge: Each pattern repeat = 2 cm/¾-inch - on border over 16 rows or top panel over 10 sts
