This is not a suitable project for a first attempt at miniature knitting

Materials required: size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply wool in main colour, 8 yards/9 metres 1-ply wool in contrast colour for feet and beak, small amount black wool for eyes and beak, small amount of stuffing material. (A smaller duck can be made using size 22 (0.75 mm/US size 6/0) knitting needles and ¼ x 5g ball No 80 crochet cotton or tatting thread No 70)

Finished sizes:
Small duck: approx, ¾-inch/2 cm tall by 1¼-inches/3 cm long (beak to tail)
Large duck: approx 1¾-inches/4 cm tall by 1½-inches long (beak to tail)

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project as toys can be any size
