Materials required:
small plastic or Fimo eggs (approx ¼-inch/0.60 cm long), 0.40 mm crochet hook, No 100 crochet cotton (however this only comes in white or Ecru) or thin sewing cotton (which comes in a variety of colours - including multicoloured - as used in photos, may be preferred, but make sure it is cotton and not a man-made fibre.) Bowl or thin twigs to display eggs.

Note: The hanger on the eggs may be omitted if you wish to display them in a bowl or basket

Gauge – this is not really important for this project as miniature eggs can be any size and the crochet will stretch to cover.
