Materials required:
Cardigan:
One pair size 19 (1 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply wool or cotton; 3 stitch holders or safety pins; 5 small buttons or beads.
Beret or Plain Tam o’Shanter (with bobble): One pair size 19 (1 mm/US size 5/0); 12½ yards/14 metres 1-ply wool.
Beret: One pair size 19 (1 mm/US size 5/0); 12½ yards/14 metres 1-ply wool.
Fair Isle Tam o’Shanter: One pair size 19 (1 mm/US size 5/0); 12½ yards/14 metres 1-ply wool in main colour, 2 –3 yards/metres each of 2 contrasting colours.

Approximate finished size:
Beret/Tam o’Shanter -
1-inch/2.5 cm diameter.
Cardigan – 1½-inches/4 cm wide at chest, sleeve 1-inch/2.5 cm long, height – 2-inches/5 cm, sleeve length 2¼-inches/5.5 cm, sleeve seam 1½-inches/3.5 cm

Gauge – Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls (like humans) vary greatly in size and proportions
