Ability Level: Experienced. This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.

Materials required: One pair size 19 (1 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 38 yards/35 metres 1-ply wool or cotton in main colour; 13 yards/12 metres 1-ply wool or cotton in each of two contrasting colours; 2 stitch holders or safety pins.
NOTE: This can be knitted in just two colours using light colour wool instead of the central medium colour wool. (The same amounts of light and dark colour wool are required a for this as stated in the pattern.)

Approximate finished size: 1½-inches/4 cm wide at chest, height – 2¼-inches/5.5 cm, sleeve length 1¾-inches/4.5 cm, sleeve seam 1½-inches/3.5 cm.
This is designed to be long and loose fitting, as was the fashion of the day, but is designed to fit a standard 5½-inch/14 cm tall dolls house doll.

Gauge – Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls (like humans) vary greatly in size and proportions
