Materials required: size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply wool in brown, 14 yards/12.5 metres 1-ply wool in yellow, 7 yards/6.5 metres 1-ply wool in beige, small amount of stuffing material. (This can be knitted in No 80 crochet cotton and using size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles to give a smaller monkey.)

Finished size:
Larger monkey: Approx 1¼-inches/3 cm wide (excluding tail), 1½-inches/4 cm tall (when sitting)
Smaller monkey: Approx 1-inch/2.5 cm wide (excluding tail), 1¼-inches/3 cm tall (when sitting)

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project, as toys can be any size
