Ecru Summer Veil - 50 metres/55 yards approx ½-ply silk yarn (Note: sewing thread such as Gutermann silk sewing thread cotton sewing thread may be substituted for the ½-ply silk, although these may give a slightly less lacy and thicker finished product), one pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles.
White winter veil - 50 metres/55 yards approx No 100 crochet cotton or cotton sewing thread, one pair size 17 (1.40 mm) knitting needles.
