Ability Level: Intermediate

Materials required:
Girls cardigan -
Size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 00000) knitting needles, 25 metres/28-yards 1-ply yarn, 3 small beads or buttons.
Toddlers cardigan - Size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, 25 metres/28-yards 1-ply yarn, 3 small beads or buttons.
 

NOTE: The same pattern is used for both girls and toddlers sizes, but the needle sizes differ

Finished sizes (approximate):
Girls cardigan –
neck to hem 1½-inches/4 cm, 1-inch/2.5 cm at lower edge, sleeve length approx 1½-inches/4 cm
Toddler cardigan - ¾-inches/2 cm at lower edge, length (neck to waist) 1¼-inch/3 cm, sleeve length 1-inch/2.5 cm

Gauge - Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary greatly in size.

Please Note that this pattern is very similar to the cardigan on FP 79 Girls School Uniform c. 1960s, however several people have asked that just the cardigan pattern was made available, with instructions to fit a toddler too.
