Another customer requested knitting pattern.  The pattern has instructions for a scallop-edged long or short-sleeve bolero with a matching pinafore dress, bonnet with knitted straps and shoes.  The finished set is suitable for any time of year, as the pinafore dress can be worn on its own or with the short sleeve bolero for the warmer months, or the pinafore can be worn with a t-shirt or sweater underneath with the long-sleeve bolero for the cooler months.

There is minimal sewing required for this pattern.  The bolero is worked top down, and you join the frill using the 3 needle cast off method.  The only sewing required is for the bonnet crown seam, the heel and sole seams of the shoes and just the side edges of the pinafore dress.
