The Flamenco Bag originally debuted as a knit pattern, but has now been translated into crochet by Stacey Trock.

Pattern Difficulty
Intrepid beginner. Requires knowledge of basic crochet stitches, increasing and decreasing, working in the round, and some simple hand-sewing.

Yarn Requirements
For a beaded bag:

  • 750 yards worsted weight, felting yarn in crimson (A)
  • 560 yards worsted weight, embellished feltable yarn in matching color (B)

For a plain bag:
* 1310 yards worsted weight yarn in crimson (A)

Fiber Options
We suggest worsted weight wool & Alpaca yarns. Pictured bag was made with Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherd’s Wool
in Garnet, held together with Tilli Tomas Flurries in Ruby Wine.
