#13 Bell-Sleeve Top
Pattern description from Knit Simple, Fall 2006: “A simple crocheted mesh-stitch jacket provides tons of drama when it ties high in the front and flares over the wrists. The sleeves are picked up a the armholes and worked in the round to the bell cuffs.”
Tip: A large hook sees you through in no time flat.
Materials:
- Small (Medium, Large)
- Bust (closed) 32.5 (35.5, 39)”/82.5 (90, 99)cm
- Length 12.25 (13, 13)”/31 (33, 33)cm
- Upper arm 16 (17.5, 17.5)”/40.5 (44.5, 44.5)cm
Notes from Knit Simple, Fall 2006:
- Body of shrug is made in one piece to armholes.
- Sleeves are worked directly onto armholes and crocheted from the top down.
- Each ch-1 sp counts as one st.
- to join yarn with a dc, make a slip knot and place on hook. Yo, insert hook into ch-1 sp (or sc), yo and draw up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps on hook twice.
