Minimal effort is needed to create a boat-neck top with maximum style: Knit side to side in Rowan’s Creative Linen, the overall open wave pattern is created by binding off portions of one row, then casting on the corresponding stitches on the following row. The cap sleeves are picked up and worked down in the same way. Garter stitch stabilizes the mesh patterning while creating self-finished edges.

This is a loose-fitting top worked from side to side in a large eyelet lace pattern created with bound-off and cast-on stitches.

3 (4, 4, 5, 5) hanks of Rowan Creative Linen (cotton/linen) in #654 white.
