Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2009: “A versatile curved-bodice bolero by Michele Rose Orne can be dressed up or down. Worked in Lion Brand Yarn’s ‘Microspun,’ the ultra-cropped piece boasts a lace pattern separated by columns of textured stitches, set-in sleeves, naturally rolling edges and a single-button loop closure at the neckline.”

“Standard-fitting shrug with curved fronts and 3/4-length sleeves.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Sized for one size to fit Small to Large
  • Bust (closed) 36”/91.5cm
  • Length 14”/35.5cm
  • Upper arm 12”/30.5cm

Materials:

  • 5 2.5oz/70g skeins (each approx 168yd/154m) of Lion Brand Microspun (microfiber acrylic) in #102 blush
  • One pair size 4 (3.5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
  • One pair size 4 (3.5mm) circular needle 32”/80cm long
  • Cable needle, stitch holders
  • One 1”/25mm button (or decorative brooch)
