The pattern consists of a large knitted rectangle, that is folded and seamed on each end into a loose sleeve. Crochet edging is added on the cuffs and the outer edges of the original rectangle, which is the “opening” of this piece.

From the finished knitted rectangle of 62 cm x 100 cm (24 1/2” x 39 3/4”), the piece is listed as having a hanging length of 73 cm (28 3/4”) and a length of 57.5 cm (22 3/4”) from the center back to the edge of the cuff. The final piece can drape beautifully from a wide variety of shoulders.
