Pattern description from Knit Simple, Fall 2006: “The throw is double-sided for extra warmth and reversibility.”

Knit Tip: “Vary the fiber for this one. Sometimes simple stockinette speaks volumes when a sumptuous yarn does the talking.”

Materials:

  • Creative Focus Kid Mohair by Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, 1¾oz/59g balls, each approx 98yd/90m (mohair/wool/polyamide)
  • 16 balls in #3 soft pink
  • One pair size (5.5mm) knitting needles or size to obtain gauge

Note: Blanket is made in two identical pieces then sewn together for double thickness. If only one thickness is desired, use half the amount of yarn required.
