This is a nice straight forward pattern for a basic sweater. Everyone can enjoy wearing a hoodie! Easy enough for a beginner. It’s worked in garter stitch. The body and hood are all one piece with self finishing edges to sew the zipper to. The sleeves are knit flat and sewn on. The only fashion detail is the ribbing at the waist. It might also be nice to add a draw string to the waist to give it a more shaped look. The yarn is a classic, pure, 100% wool with a soft spin. A bit thicker than a regular aran yarn.
