Direct Japanese translation: Stole with Slits
- a shawl with armholes which can be worn as a vest

Tools/Materials:

  • Yarn: 360g (1176m) of Wister Couleur in color 85 (Monotone)
  • Hook: Japanese size 4/0 (2.5mm)

Dimensions:
width 64cm, length 113cm

Gauge:
One pattern repeat of 22 stitches = 8.5cm
10 rows = 10cm

Additional Notes:

  • Pattern is on pages 72, 73, and 85.
  • The pattern diagram shows 40 rows between the armholes. You will want to change that to 41 rows (or any odd number) in order to get the armhole edging on correctly. As a result, you will also need to change the final section from 21 rows to 20 (or 22, or any even number) to end with a solid row.
