Ability Level: Experienced

Designed to fit a 32.5 cm/13-inch tall doll such as Ken, GI Joe, Action Man or other similar teenage/fashion doll

Materials required: one pair of size 2.00 mm knitting needles; plus one spare size 2.00 mm knitting needle; 90 metres/97 yards/15 grams No 10 crochet cotton; 2 stitch holders or safety pins.

Finished size of sweater:
Neck to hem - 12 cm/4½-inches; Sleeve seam – 8.75 cm/3½-inches; Sleeve length - 10 cm/4-inches; Width across chest - 7.5 cm/3-inches.

Gauge - worked over rib stitches at base: 6 rows = 1 cm and 5 stitches = 1 cm

NOTE: This has been designed to give the illusion of a zipped garment, as although zips are available this small, they are very bulky when used on miniature garments. The ‘zip’ is unzipped to allow room to pull the sweatshirt over a dolls head. The inside of the pocket has been left as a tube, as this hangs better, but may be tacked along the ‘zip’ line. The sweatshirt is also made slightly ‘baggy’ to allow other clothes to be worn underneath if required.
