Ability Level: Intermediate

To fit a 29 cm/11-½ inch tall doll (including Curvy Barbie and Sindy)

Materials required
One pair of 3.25 mm and one pair 4.00 mm knitting needles,
40-50 metres DK yarn

Finished measurements
Back neck to hem: 7.5 cm/3-inches. Sleeve seam: 6 cm/2½-inches. Sleeve seam with cuff: 7.5 cm/3-inches

Gauge - Worked over garter stitch:
4 rows = 1 cm and 2 stitches = 1 cm

NOTE:

  1. This is designed as a modern oversized chunky style cardigan where the stitches are supposed to be large and is not a tight fit.
  2. If using variegated yarns, make sure the colour changes are very short, rather than forming broad stripes.
  3. The main part of the cardigan is worked in one piece, with cuffs to sleeves and neckband added afterwards if required. Without the cuffs and neckband this forms a loose necked jacket
  4. The thickness of DK yarn varies, so the jacket may be more bulky and wider if knitted with thicker DK yarn.
