I made my niece a möbius scarf based off the book “17 Equations that Changed the World.” I posted some pictures on Reddit and the community encouraged me to put it up here.

Notes on yarn:
You’ll need approx. 825 yards EACH of your two favorite colors of fingering.

I used knitpicks diadem. this is a terrible yarn to use for this project- it’s splitty and felts easily and hard to rip out and and overall terrible choice for colorwork. Don’t be me. Use some better fingering option to show off your colorwork. Diadem IS lovely and soft and warm- use it for something else.

Notes on gauge:
It doesn’t really matter if your gauge is smaller, it just means your “Font” will be a bit smaller. I would caution going larger, as this finished work was about 16” wide and 5’ long. Bigger may be unwieldy.

ERRATUM: Laryssa found an error in Newton’s equation. Here’s what it should be until I get the PDF as a whole updated. Thanks, Laryssa!
