#174 Simpatico Alpaca Stole
Errata found 2/10/14: On page 5, after Row 384 (432), the k15 at the end should be k7. The corrected instruction is: Next Row RS: K6, k2tog, k5, ssk, k3, k2tog, k17, rep from * to * once, k7 (31) = 52 (76) sts. (ALL purchases after 2/10/14 are corrected.)
Errata found 11/17/13: On page 5, it should be CO 52 for the Scarf size and after the Set-Up Row, there should be 58 sts. Finished measurements and the Set-Up Row are correct. (ALL purchases after this date have corrected version).
Gauge: 17-st Cable panel = 2 ¾“ 7 cm and 24 rows = 3 ½” 9 cm
A gorgeous cable panel and lacy leaf panel travel in perfect harmony along the length of this generous rectangular stole (or scarf).
Both stitch designs gently wave in sync, creating a pretty curved edge along one long edge. Knit in the fabulous Ultra Alpaca yarn from Berocco for a very luxe feel, stunning heathered color, and great stitch definition.
Garter stitch edging is knit-in all around for the finishing touch.
Wear the versatile stole around your shoulders, draped or wrapped, or use it as a very cozy scarf! It will easily become your must-have item whenever you walk out the door.
Smaller Scarf size instructions included as well.
