Double Cable sweater and French Beret

This pattern is written by me for beginner.

If you know just 2 stitches; knit and purl – you can knit this sweater and a hat. Even a child can do it.

This will fit American Girl Doll or any other 18” doll.
I have written this Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch – by- stitch pattern that anyone can follow.

Now as for this lovely sweater set:
The yarn used here is an ordinary sports weight (DK weight, Baby weight) acrylic yarn. You will need about 3 oz of yarn for both the sweater and the hat.

The sweater is done without side seams. The only seams are under arms in the sleeves and the back. And there is a small seam in the back of the hat.
