This pattern uses 1 Semiprecious Hues Pearlescent Fingering weight yarn kit, but any 4 shades from this category will work. Really, you can use any 4 colors of any fingering weight yarn. You’ll be holding the yarn double as you work so the colors will blend and flow beautifully. So no stress on picking out the perfect colors. Just choose four you adore! (These skeins are each 4 oz, 550 yards)

You’ll need a US size J (6.00 mm) hook.

Why This Shawl Will Rock Your World:

•I opted to call this pattern 18 Karat due to the beautiful gold color in the sample shown. It reminded me of a piece of turquoise surrounded by gold. The time and love we put into our projects truly make them priceless like a beloved piece of jewelry passed down through generations. Whatever colors you use, I hope this shawl is a treasure you adore for years and wear whenever you need a little pick-me-up. Remember how much love you poured into each stitch and know you are wrapped in that love.

•Intermediate/advanced pattern - you’ll want to have a good grip on crochet (haha - pun intended) to work this shawl. It incorporates, dc clusters, dc and trc puffs and little ‘hugs.’ (Instructions are given for all, including a video for the puffs).

•The colors shift and blend so you really can’t go wrong in choosing your shades.

•It features faux-tassels on the ends, which are all the rage, but you won’t even have to make a tassel. Woop!

Enjoy your crocheting!
