Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2007/08: “A slip-stitch brick pattern brings out all the tweedy attributes of Alpaca With a Twist’s ‘Baby Twist.’ The high-necked buttoned jacket, also by Shirley Paden, has three-quarter-length sleeves, attached I-cord edgings and a pair of side pockets.”

“Standard-fitting cardigan in 2-color pattern with stand-up collar and slit pockets. Sized for Small, Medium, Large, 1-X, 2-X, 3-X and shown is size Small on page 85.”

  • 10 (11, 12, 13, 15, 16) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 110yd/100m) of Alpaca with a Twist Baby Twist (alpaca) in #5003 autumn leaves (A)
  • 7 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10) balls in #94 harvest (B)
  • One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
  • Size 4 (3.5mm) circular, 24”/60cm length
  • Six 7/8”/22mm buttons
  • Stitch holders

Additional Gauge: 23 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10cm over St st using larger needles
